Never Say Never
What's that, you say? It could never happen? The fans could never bring
back a character who appeared in only nine episodes, you say?
How about a character who had appeared in only two episodes? It
happened in 1975.

TV Guide, September 14, 1975
"The season premiere of The Six Million Dollar Man (8 ABC) is the first
half of a two-part story -- and a testament to the power of a television
audience. Last season, Steve's bionic fiancee was killed off, but tonight
she's resurrected - thanks, say the producers, to a barrage of protest
mail."
"It's a bionic contract, and I have a bionic manager!" Lindsay
Wagner, 1975
In 1975, Lindsay Wagner became known as 'the girl who shafted the Black
Tower' (Universal). After appearing in a two-part episode of The Six
Million Dollar Man called "The Bionic Woman," her character, Jaime
Sommers, was killed off. The fan outcry was so intense that Lindsay Wagner
was rehired; in fact, she was able to set her own terms. After the
two-part episode "The Return of the Bionic Woman," the television series
"The Bionic Woman" followed. After ABC cancelled the series, NBC picked it
up for another season! Even after the show was finally cancelled, three
bionic reunion movies followed.
Twenty years after Lindsay Wagner appeared in only two episodes of
The Six Million Dollar Man as Jaime Sommers, the Bionic Woman was
still around, finally marrying the Six Million Dollar Man in 1994.
 Bionic Ever After (1994)
So, never say never! It can be done!
Don't assume that fans have no power. If we work together, we
can do the impossible.
